Fees
Please note the Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated (AAPi) recommended rate for a standard 40-60 minute psychology consult is $315 for 2025/2026. To ensure that our services are as affordable as possible, our psychology rate at Smiles is well below this.

A deposit is required at the time of booking an assessment, payment plans are available upon request.
Therapy
- Initial Parent Only Consultation (60-90 minutes) - $180 (no rebate)
- Psychology Consultation (50 minutes) - $230 (Medicare and Private Health rebates may apply)
- Accredited Mental Health Social Worker Consultation (50 minutes) - $200 (Medicare and Private Health rebates may apply)
- Counsellor/Social Worker Consultation (50 minutes) - $150 (no rebate)
- Provisional Psychologist Consultation (50 minutes) - $120 (no rebate)
- Offsite Consultations (school/home visit/observation/atendance at meetings etc) - As per Service Agreement
Asessments
- Psycho-Educational Assessment - $1800
- Psycho-Educational & ADHD Assessment - $2200
- Team Autism Assessment (Psychologist and Occupational Therapist) - $3250
- Team Autism & ADHD Assessment - $3700
- ADHD Assessment - $1800 (includes parent interview, cognitive assessment, questionnaires and feedback session)
- Cognitive Assessment - starts from $1400 (includes parent interview, cognitive assessment, questionnaires and feedback session)
- NB: All assessments include a feedback session with our psychologist (included in the fee). A school feedback session can be provided upon request at an additional cost.
Documentation (including telephone calls, report writing and completion of documents)
Formulation of documentation in addition to assessment reports including school/home programs, progress reports, support letters
- 1-15 minutes - $50
- 16-30 minutes - $100
- 31-45 minutes - $150
- 46-60 minutes - $200
- 61-75 minutes - $250
Cancellations
- Cancelled appointments will incur the usual fee charged, unless two full business days’ notice is provided to the clinic. We have an extensive waiting list, therefore, advanced notice of cancellations is greatly appreciated, as it allows the Smiles All Round admin team time to offer an appointment to another patient.
- Multiple cancellations will subsequently require payment at time of booking and will preclude the patient from booking further appointments at the busiest times (out of school hours).
- Outstanding payments may result in the cancellation of booked appointments on future dates.
Service Agreements
- Where clients request offsite consults, service agreements outlining fees and terms are arranged.
NDIS
- Therapy (50 minute consult) - Psychologist $252.99; Social Worker $193.99; Counsellor $156.16
- Support Worker (1 hour) $65.47 (higher rates will be charged for after business hours, weekends and public holidays)
- Smiles All Round will only accept NDIS plans that are Plan Managed or Self-Managed
- Referrals under NDIS require reporting to NDIS when requested
- Requests for reports are required a minimum of one month before the report is required
Mental Health Care Plan
- A Medicare rebate may be claimed for patients using certain Medicare Plans including Better Access to Mental Health Care, Chronic Disease Management and Helping Children with Autism Package (please bring your referral). Referrals under Medicare require the psychologist to report back to your referring health practitioner.
Private Health
- It is the responsibility of the client to check their eligiblilty and coverage with our service.
